Cover again, and continue to cook on high heat for an additional 5 to 7 minutes, until all the mussels are open. They are so quick and easy to cook and can be served as an appetizer or main, in sauces, pastas and soups.
Pour in an additional 3/4 cup of white wine.
How to cook the perfect mussels. You can also add a splash of cream at the end if you like.
