How to cook marinated sirloin tips in the oven. Add the beef tips in a single layer, spaced apart. Grilling is my favorite way to cook sirloin tip steak and it’s easier than you think!. Remove the skillet from the oven and place the steak on a cutting board. Marinate your steak tips in half the sauce overnight, then sear them and coat with the remaining sauce.

Place the beef tips on a baking sheet sprayed with cooking spay. Simmer for eight minutes—that’s it! Cook for 5 minutes, then turn the beef tips over and cook for another 5 minutes on the other side.

Warm in a 250 degree f oven just until the internal temperature of the meat reads 110 degrees f. Turn the steak over and put the skillet into the oven. Remove bag/container from the fridge 30 minutes before cooking so the steak and marinade can reach room temperature.

To make the sauce, combine maple syrup, tamari, sesame oil, mirin, garlic, grated ginger, and chili paste in a saucepan. Whichever type of pan you use should be heated with oil over a medium to high heat until the pan is shimmering. Transfer pan to the oven and bake.

Preheat the oven to 400°f. While it’s preheating, take the steak out of the fridge and let it come down to room temperature for 30 to 45 minutes.
