Roast for 30 to 35 minutes (at 425°f) or until the thermometer reaches your preferred doneness. Close the lid, turn to the lowest setting and enjoy the wonderful smells that grilling brings and pretty soon you will be enjoying this delicious bbq tri tip roast.
If you are using a rotisserie do it after you have placed the meat through the rod.
